My suggestion to the NRL would be to raise the cap (stop players running overseas) and to also change the structure of the player contracts so that the team who the player currently plays for can offer the player 20% more than any other team (above the cap as a loyalty clause) therefore the player would need to accept a pay cut if he was to change teams at the end of his contract. i like the referee point - they should definately make use of the technology yeah i liked the article – some very nice points!

Gotta say that I agree with your Dynasty theory. I was much more of a fan of the Magpies because they had players like Andrew "Jumper" Leeds for many years. Players that move every 2nd season annoy me because you can no longer think that the NRL will have players like Sterlo for Parra or Andrew/Matty Johns for the Knights. And I dont think there will be teams like the Chicago Bulls that can go 6 championships out of 8 seasons because the teams change waaaaaay too much and 13 players makes it way more inconsistent for one player to make such an impact every game.
