I think further props are also due, because it is a Batman film. I'm sure at some stage in the film, everybody forgot that the Batman franchise even existed, wrapped up in The Joker's sadistic ploys. What I really enjoyed about The Dark Knight, was the film's ability to dismiss the notion of black and white, with characters jumping back and forth between the light and darkness. It's good to see that people are responding to films which provoke a deeper than usual thought process. First Fight Club, now TDK. Kudos, can't way for B3.
