So anyway I checked the stats for the site, expecting close to zero visitors and was stunned by the figures. I could not believe it. Over 1000 unique visitors over the past month! How the… I mean… why… so many… people? I usually only get between 50-100! And all of this without any posts!! I might purposely not post here more often. After further inspection, most of the views were for my dedication to Justin Timberlake. Maybe due to the Australian concerts? (To which I have no tickets! Shut your mouth Jane!)

In other music news, I have to mention Kanye’s new album Graduation. It is the fucking shit! Possibly album of the year in my opinion. Word is that he is going to outsell ‘fiddy’. I hope that results in the end of ‘fiddys’ solo career like he promised. The world would be a better place.

1. She came like 5 hrs late

3. She had the same type of drink all night

Well, I guess the biggest news is that I’ve finally turned the big two oh (20) and to celebrate I had some friends over for a BBQ/drink night which really went crazy and included kebabs and then somehow ended up at Keogh’s apartment. Thank you very much to those who came and to those that didn’t thank you very little (i.e. Vindya and Jane!) Also thanks for the awesome present guys, you really went to too much trouble. Book, CD, chocolates and drinks! Damn! Presents just went up a notch! We now have to top that for our next birthday (Keogh my man ) By the way Robert, that cup you made now sits on my desk hahaha ah the memories! I’ll try to get some pictures of the night up on here sometime soon.

Now for this weekend gone by. Friday night was alright as I headed over to Vindya’s Birthday dinner, yes, thats right, I went to YOUR birthday celebration what about mine huh?! Anyway, it was highly enjoyable catching up with the “chicky pies” (that was what you said right Jane?) which I haven’t seen for ages! Anywho, Saturday night turned out to be hectic too, headed over to Austin’s place and then played some street bball seeing as we didn’t have a game this week and we needed to get our freak on. It was all good fun which ended up at Maccas again (why does that always happen?) The night ended up with some board games which I/Austin won hahaha yeah thats right Robert and Ash! I think thats ownage right Austin? hahaha! It was also good seeing my homie Eddie who I haven’t seen in ages too and that pretty much sums up that weekend.

Which leads me to today, where I am at work and completely bored! Almost everyone’s gone on leave and the place is on lockdown which means nothing can be touched unless its broken. Even the cricket’s finished! Congrats to the Aussies for getting back the Ashes. With England losing sporting events to Australia once more, order has been restored to the world and everything is back to normal again hahaha. Please if anyone has any good sites or anything that I can do to pass time, please leave a comment!

Anyhoo I can’t wait for uni to be over and done with so I can finally free up some time because its the main reason why I’ve been neglecting this site. I mean last week I practically died from sleep deprevation, staying up late doing assignments and then working the next day. Take a guess how many pages the major report was… Wrong! I’ll give you hints – higher… higher… hiiiigheeeeerrrrrr… yep that’s right 251 damn pages long (not including html pages and Excel tables). Longest… document… ever… So you can imagine my relief when we handed it in last Friday. But am I free? Hell No! Today, on the following Monday, I have already received another 2 assignments to do. Un-fricken-believable! So I hope you guys enjoyed this post because its the last one for a long while. Ok thats enough ranting from me. Peace!

So does anyone want to know what I’ve been up to for the past couple of days?
They’ve been craaazzy!

It started last Tuesday when I was told at work that I would be needed to travel all around the country to test out our new product (which I’m not at liberty to mention yet so I will continue to refer to it as ‘product’ and the airline will be referred to as ‘company’).

So on early Thursday morning I got my tired ass out of bed and hauled it to the airport for my flight to Melbourne. When we got there we had to attend a short debrief of the product as well as the itinerary of the test flights. Only a small number of people (20) were on these flights. Most were from the company’s cabin crew and a couple of guys from the US where the only other system like this exists. On a side note ‘company’ flight attendants are hot! Spent some time chatting to them, then we boarded the private plane and took off, flying back to Sydney. We landed there to refuel, then continued onto Brisbane, and had a weird kind of aborted landing where just as we were about to land, the engines kicked in again and we took off. Next stop, Adelaide, with the same landing procedure, and then back onto Melbourne. It was pretty cool because it was a private flight, I got to see the cockpit and had a whole row to myself, whilst testing the product. Oh yeah, the flight was fully catered as well, drinks food and all. I’ve finally experienced ‘crappy airline food’. In my opinion, it shouldn’t even be classified as food, more like mashed up chemicals (I mean chicken which doesn’t go bad for a year? It’s obviously not chicken…) At Melbourne, spent some time with the guys from work, had some drinks and a large dinner then headed to bed.

Next day, more of the same thing. We flew Melbourne to Perth, had 10 minutes to walk around the terminal while the plane refuelled and then flew back to Melbourne. By this stage I just wanted to go home! Then we flew back home on a normal flight back to Sydney, taxi back home. The whole adventure felt like it had been a week. The only thing that got me through the second day was lots of caffeine! I was so out of it, at least I now know what jetlag means and now I can say I’ve been in Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane and Adelaide all in one day and everywhere except Darwin in two

But my day wasn’t over quite yet…

Headed down to TJ’s place after cause it was his brother’s birthday party (shoutout to Mitch!). Anyway had some drinks and kicked arse at soccer! Crashed there the night and the next day I was stuffed (must have been the bad mix of caffeine and alcohol). Anyway when I got home still didn’t sleep! I hooked up some equipment in my bedroom (namely in the form of a computer) and then called it a day.

By now I bet you’re all asking yourself:
“Who made you do this?”
“What were you testing?”
“Got some pictures of the chicks?”
“Why did I read all of this?”

Well for those of you who don’t know I work for Foxtel engineering, testing, creating designing new products (as that’s what engineers do…)
I can’t tell you what I was testing as it’s all under wraps. If you were smart you could put two and two together. I couldn’t get pictures because I can’t release them (duh!). Also, we were the first people outside the US to use the product. Pretty cool, huh?
Unfortunately no pictures of the chicks, I lied. I wasn’t chatting them up… they approached me and started talking to me. Yeah that’s right! Booyah! (It was mostly about the product though…)
I can’t answer the last one for you, maybe it’s because I am t3h pwnage! Hahaha
Well I think I’m done… at least for now.

The night started at home talking to the guys and we didn’t know what to do… so after we “convinced” TJ to drive we went to aqua golf down at Penrith. After that, we were once again bored, so out of the blue we were like “We should go city” and then “We should go Coogee Bay” and before you know it we were there at the pub downing beer like it was water. Special shout out to Dave who actually likes beer now And Chris, you fricken machine man! It was good to see the chicks were still out despite it being cold and wet, and that one who collapsed on the floor whilst talking to us and got kicked out – hilarious. Having being pushed into another corner of the bar we went down to get kebabs. A night isn’t complete without one. Ok so at this point we were like oh shit we better go home. So we jumped in the car and TJ took us for a round trip through the city, mainly due to us telling him wrong directions haha. Then somehow me and Chris ended up dancing in the middle of a street in Bondi while TJ “drove” off i.e. we could see he had stopped a little further haha. When we finally got back in the car we were screaming our lungs out to the music and I lost my voice YAYA!. After that we all slept in the car including TJ even though he was driving, fucking magical! Somehow we made it back to c-town cause I remember collapsing on my bed hahaha!

Absolute props must go out to TJ who made this night possible – man I love you!
